Yes, clearly in this situation, you should pounce on him. Personally, i'd tie him up with my stockings and hang him upsidedown from the roofbeam then rip his clothes off. Then i'd go to the fridge and get the ice-cream. When he's covered in it i'd lob halved strawberries at him and see how many stick. It toughens them up so they can sit still while you talk about committment..
