If you have a CD writer and the Nero software, you can make CD's. Start the Nero application, choose CD => Photo and Video => Make Video CD => + Add => Select the folders you want to save on the CD => Next => Name the CD => Next => Burn CD. Don't forget to put the blank CD in the driver when it's necessary. You can make a trial before at >>>More => Simulation => Next etc., to see if your blank CD is good. You can make a Data disk if you choose, in the same way, by following the instructions on the Nero wizard. After you check the results, you can delete the files from your hard-drive.

The definitive answer: Open some new folders in your 'my documents'. Drag about 50 pictures at a time into each folder. When all your photos are now in folders, put a disc into your writer. Click on one of the folders and then 'send to disc'. Continue until each disc is full then label it and continue with the next.

If you have a blank CD, then just drag and drop the pictures. BUt before you do that, keep in mind a standard CD has 700MB of free space, so you wanna measure the size of your pictures. To measure the size of your pictures, just select all, (ctrl+A) and then right click and go to properties. That will help you. Remember most CD's will allow you to keep adding even after you burn the disk till you use up the entire space. Good luck...

If you have a CD burner installed on your computer you can burn all of your pictures to one or more CD-R's (depending on how many pictures you have of course)
Or you can purchase a memory key or external hard drive if all you are trying to do is back up the pictures or remove them from your current hard drive.
