My husband will be attending a Multi-media, credentialed college for Sound Arts in July and it cost $60,000. I would like to avoid using our savings. Does anyone know of Scholarships for African American over 35?

Go to www.fastweb.com complete the requested survey and it will provide you with all the information you can handle. It will look for scholarships based on sex, race, educational interest areas, etc. It will also email you durring the year to let you know as new opportunities pop up. It is free.

go to financial aid office, there is always scholarships there, or just google it. you think 60,000 dollars is a lot, it is nothing compared to what I have to pay, but the thing is if you go thru the financial aid and get private loans then you dont have to pay for it right away. When I finish school I will owe over 200,000 dollars, so trust me 60,000 is nothing. and after 6 months I make small payments until everything is situated, and then pay it off.
