I'm having a hard time believing that males think about sex that much. But, I think it's an interesting question. Men think more visually, and women think more in terms of "relationship." I'd like a sample population with some data on what the numbers are?

I'm 23 and I think that you are right most of the time. But it's not my fault. Just watch TV. Almost every TV show. Has a hot girl in it. And OMG. Commercials. Now U guys know you do it all the time. Even if it's only for like a split second. You see a hot girl and your like. In your mind. Damn what I would do to her. Now I don't care if you have a girl friend. If you have been married 30 years. Or what. You can't lie about your subconscious. And it's not just TV. All over the Internet, magazines, billboards. Hot women all the time. So even though it might not be every 7 seconds. It is still a lot of the time. But hey. It's not our fault completely. If you want to blame some one. Blame society and advertising.

I'm a female and I'm 20. They do think about sex, but so do women. People say that only because men get real Horny all the time.

I am a female, 21, and I think of it often. I have been going to church trying to live right and so hard because me and boyfriend are to getting busy. I fantasize about having sex with other men and even about my classmate(he is so sexy). I feel that it is 2006 and when comes to sex and having thoughts about it women think of it more. Women are allot more aggressive when comes to dating and sex.

but somepeople believe that they're safe from sex by wearing a
condoms which is 25% safe for not having sex

so i am a man 46, for me sexual thoughts are fun but i have learned that i must control them or they will become the only thing that is important to me, and that won't make me the kind of person i want to be. so i beleive most good men have learned to controll thier sex thoughts and most bad men haven't. many men hurt people buy not controlling there sexual thoughts so my hope for all men is that they learn some self control and not become controlled by sex.

I've never seen this claim substantiated with actual evidence - as if a person's thought patterns are measurable. I'd file this one under urban myths and old wive's tales, whichever you prefer.

I don't believe that's true.. I'm a male, and im 19. I've had g/f's that thought about it more than i did.
