There is no correlation between food and acne although it's a widespread belief. So, basically you could eat what you'd like and there would be no effect on your acne. Eating less fat or chocolates won't make a difference, so don't torture yourself.
Using a soft soap once or twice a day should be enough. Don't use it more than that because it stimulates the release of more grease, so your pores will get clogged more easily and infected (which is actually what a pimple is about).
If you are a teenager, the acne will last as long as you are in your teens and then will dissapear on its own. In the mean time try to keep it as low as possible so it won't leave scars. Some people will always have acne despite not being in their teens. For these people, gentle washing with water and soaps and probably the use of antibiotics definitely helps, especially if you have a severe acne. I would strongly advise to consult a Dermatologist who could prescribe antibiotics (like Minocycline) or Roaccutane which works great. As I said, if you are in your teens it's just a matter of time before the acne disappears, but in the meantime seek the help of a Dermatologist. If your acne is severe there is little you can do with lotions, soaps or whatever other stuff is sold over the internet, seek help! Ah! and just be aware that many of the substances used for acne may irritate your skin if you get exposed to sun, so ask about this! Hope it helps.

Cut down on saturated fats and greasy food in your diet. Also, eat more soluable fiber, it soaks up fat and helps clean it out of your system. Also, use a mild, non abarasive soap to wash yourself everyday (Ivory is a good choice). Try to wash your face (if possible) 2 -3 times a day, to avoid oily buildup. One other thing to consider- I am allergic to MSG, often found in Chinese Food and pre-prepared convience foods (junk food). Every time I take in MSG, I get a break out. Same thing applies to Peanut oil, so every time I eat Thai or peanut butter, I get a break out. Some food allergies cause acne, not all food allergies cause illness or sickness. I have heard that this mild allergy to MSG and Peanut oil is fairly common, take a look at your daily diet, see how much of those you consume on a daily/weekly basis.

First you need to know that acne is a bacterial infection. You can make certain changes to your diet, but one can also have a family history of acne. Avoid fried and fatty foods, and talk to your doctor about a antibiotic regimen that uses tetracycline and a topical ointment. My son had the same type of acne on his chest, and he used the antibiotics and creams with excellent results. Good Luck!

If you eat alot of sweet foods like chocolate, lessen the amount you eat. Also use facial wash everyday and use a creme that helps get rid of it.

use pro activ - i don't think it has anything to do with what food you eat, but always being healthy and staying away from fried foods and sugars helps.
