As near as i can tell, there is no law that states you can't play music late at night. There are laws that govern how loud you can play that music, and those laws vary city to city.

As far as I'm aware, and according to my tenancy agreement, the Law says it has to be off, or inaudible to others from after10pm, so get and turn it down now, quick before the police come!!!!

it depends on where you live, if it is in an average city it's usually 10p.m unless you have some type of permit for a special occasion. If you don't care about the law, or you live in the country it really doesn't matter.

It depends on where you live. Its different because of the local laws. You could call your city hall and ask about a city noise ordinance.

As long as you like as long as the volume is at a reasonable level, you would be expected to turn it down at 11pm though

Until it is considered a nuisance by neighbours etc, it all depends on circumstances really, but after 11.30 is a no-no in our area.

Its 11.00p.m by law but you will probably find people will still complain if it goes after 8.pm
