If we're talking about material things... yes it's better to give b/c it makes you feel better about yourself to make someone else happy and let them know that you care.
Sex wise... it's definitely better to recieve!

It isn't better to give than receive, it's best to give than receive. My reason, because God tells us to, and any reward from him is greater than anything i could ever receive that is earthly, plus it does your heart and soul so much good to feel the joy of giving, and bringing about a certain peace in someone Else's life.
BUT THAT'S JUST ME OUT OF A TRILLION PEOPLE, IT MAKES ME HAPPY TO DO SO.....

give and then receieve OR receive and then give. it should be equal.
