Which would you rate and why ; the aleins or the predators?
Do you think they should do another where the first left off?

Unfortunately it's not a good movie as what we expected.
The cast, the figures are all excellent. But It's not a successful movie. If the movie was really or much more sharp story as the teeth of aliens and the razor of predators, I think I can raise my two thumbs up!
But AVP only good in comic for the story...I collect them all from Action figures till comics.
If there is another sequel to come for the next AVP2, I am looking forward to watch it.

I thought it was an alright action-romp but it didn't do justice to the franchise. After all, the AVP series has spanned all kinds of media, from comics to novels to video games. There was a huge fan-base behind it before there was a film, and of course the fans were rooting for it. But it was too surface level and lightweight. Where was the fear? And as if unblooded Predators would hunt without a blooded teacher. If they do make another film it might be better if they came up with a new story or took a story from the comics or novels.
I like the Aliens best because their relentless will to breed is far more frightening than predators hunting you. Somethings are worse than death and being impregnated by Alien spawn is one of them.

I thought it was an excellent movie!
The two predators sucked, but the one who died at the end kicked a$s. The aliens were tough as hell though. Hard one to call really!
The ending was great, but I'm not sure there's much scope for a sequel - a single alien isn't going to do much on a ship full of predators.

Try the original comic Graphic Novel from Dark Horse Publications. The story is quite different and set in the future. Remember...the predators always show up when it is hot. They are cold-blooded...and cannot take the cold. This story is one of my favourite of all times...especially the ending...which the movie tried to copy. Enjoy.

This was an excellent script put in the hands of a not-so-good director. The story is so good that it should have made a blockbuster, yet the actors and again, the director, conspired against the final result.

I think the predators are better than the aliens.
Predator has some type of respect for humans, they dont kill females! ; )
Plus the dreds on predator are great lookin!...lol

I started watching it with my dad and thought it was stupid. But 15 mins into it i couldnt stop watching it. I LOVE IT. I cant remember alot about it but i liked the ones who in the end help the girl. I havent watched it since the day it came out on dvd so yea. They sooooo should do another one. and the ending was AWESOME!

the movie was ok...but I would suggest you read AVP from the Darkhorse series which was much better than the movie and it has way more gore and action this movie had the preds as pansy I wanted to see more action and Lex leave with the other preds.

I think that the preditors should team up with the humans and aliens and kill all the other things that get in their way
