Because the whole pig, barbequed in the sand luau style with the apple stuffed in it's mouth, doesn't fit very well in the pizza box!

I eat that kind of pizza all the time and i was wondering that too.
I guess there are different types of bacon and when the person made the pizza canadian bacon tasted best on it!

Because you can can Canadian Bacon but not strip bacon, a large amount of meat used in Hawaii is canned and oddly the love "spam".

It could be because they love pork. I believe in Hawaii they have spam on one of there breakfast sandwiches at McDonald's. I live in MN, where Spam is made, and I've also heard that Hawaii is the biggest buyer of spam in the US. Could be part of the reason I suppose, it's the best I could do without really knowing.
