I've met him at several tournaments. He's a very friendly guy, but, unfortunately, a Maple Leafs fan. I'm a big Pittsburgh Penguins fan. However, it gave me a GREAT story.

We were at a tournament, and we were discussing hockey since the Penguins were playing the Maple Leafs that weekend. John was wearing a shirt with a very "busy" design. As I studied it, I realized that the design was penguins - one upright, one upside down, so that they fit together like a puzzle. Maybe each one was an inch high, and every row connected to the next.

I said, "John, you've got little penguins all over your shirt." He looked down at his shirt, pulled it away from his body, and mumbled something about Holly (his wife) being in trouble for picking out this shirt.

I saw John a bit later, and, "surprisingly," he wasn't wearing that shirt anymore. I'm sure it never made it back to Canada.

John Part – Death Maple
The only dart player to beat Phil Taylor in the World championships in 12 years, which he did in 2003

I don't know him, but I've seen him play. He seems well enough and a damn good dart player. I'd be scared to match him!
