Aside from the beaches, try Arawak Cay for some good local cuisine (cheap), Ardastra Gardens, take a boat out to go snorkeling/scuba diving/fishing. You can also take a number of tours including the Nassau Walking Tour which leads you to some of the more historic sites. You can also visit the Straw Market for locally made souvenirs.
There is also a Fort across from Arawak Cay that you can climb up to.
And you can head across to Paradise Island and see The Cloisters, Festival Place (shopping).

Definitely check out Atlantis! Take a water taxi over there from Nassau (it is really cheap)Also, check out the Straw market to get great deals on imitation big name purses (Coach, Louis, and all the others) Try an excursion to Exuma Cay for the day. Ardosta Gardens was neat, but it does not take much time. Have a great time! Check out the link below for other tours and excursions.

The Atlantis. I think thzat is in Nassua. Im sorry, but im not really sure. But i know there is a place called the atlantis resort in the bahamas.
