depends on what you do, and anyway on this subject, the media blows this whole myspace thing wayyy outta proportion, if you only knew how many times i've heard the word myspace on the news... they seriously need to find something else to complain about...

I don't think that MySpace is any more dangerous than any other site. It's how u use it. You need to be very careful when chatting with anyone online. Doesn't matter if it's MySpace,Yahoo, Yahoo 360,MSN, etc. They are all potentially dangerous. And I said "Potentially". Don't tell strangers where u live,or give out ur telephone number..I have had no plms with it myself. Or any other sites for that matter..It's all in how u conduct urself.Disgretion.Hope this helped. :)

It can be. I say this because there are alot of people on myspace who revel way too much info about themselves and their lives! For example,a person on myspace might say where they will be going on a particular weekend. This could get them in trouble if a stalker is looking to find them!

I think myspace.com is safe. Your own actions determine how much information about yourself is put out there. If you read the myspace.com safety tips, there is sound, common-sense advise about not putting too much personal information about yourself for all to see. Self-editing is probably the best tool you have to keep from getting preyed upon in cyber-space as well as real life. Remember, that page is an extension of you for all to see. Personally, I wouldn't place items that I wouldn't want my parents, neighbors, teachers, employers, enemies and total strange perverts to see. Why? Because the Internet allows of these people access if they so choose. So it is not just "your space" but a mini-world bulletin board. So just be mindful of what you put up there and you should be fine. Happy posting!

no myspace is not dangerous to me. i think it depends on some people who makes it dangerous and abuses how to use it. some people are just not thinking. nothing has happened to me and nothing ever will, cause i only use myspace to keep up with friends i dont usually see. i dont think its a way to meet people u've never met in ur life...

If you're smart and don't give out information and set it so it's private, and only accept friend requests from people you know, you're most likely fine. But there are a lot of sickos out there that are on myspace. My teacher had one and so many pervs sent her messages saying they wanted her and all this stuff.... so yes, it can be ok if you know what you're doing... but it can also be dangerous. :]

Yes. Simply for the fact that there is no monitoring of it. It's a free open service where anybody can send whatever means of viruses they wish to just for their sick entertainment. Also, with any website out there, putting too much personal information about yourself and including pictures to go with that, just tempts perverts and weirdos alike.

I think it is very dangerous. People list too much personal information about themselves. By doing so it leaves them vulnerable to predators such as, pedophiles, identity fraud, and scams.
