Im am soooooooo suprised Billups is still not up there, iverson wade duncan werent even close in the MVP voting with billups. PLEASE PICK Billups or im gonnna start my own shitt like this, since its complete BS hes not in the top 7, he should he around 4 up there.

ill say what ive been saying since #5 and that is...

CHAUNCEY BILLUPS is the 8th beast player in the NBA for sure. What makes him the 8th best is that he knows how to win. He doesn't have to score 40 points/night, but he can if necessary. If another player is hot, he'll rack up the assists, because he's not going to take points away from his teamates just to "get his". He's had the most consistent season, and he has led his team to the league's best record.

Led the league in assists per turnover (4.11), ranked fourth in assists per game (8.6) and fifth in three pointers made (184), averaged career highs in both points (18.5) and assists, set a career high for both three point percentage (.433) and three pointers made. The leader of a Detroit Pistons team which recorded the best record in the NBA at 64-18.

and why he isnt in the top 5, when he finished ahead of wade, iverson, duncan in the mvp voting is a surpirse to me...

I know I'll get flack for this... but Kirk Hinrich is the 8th best player currently. He is the reason for the Bulls being resurrected. It all starts with his defense... he is a great on-ball defender. He is also a great shooter and passer despite not having any post presence on the Bulls... no Sweetney and Malik Allen do not count. He had to cope with being guarded by much larger players because the diminutive Ben Gordon is in the backcourt with him. Hinrich survives and thrives despite all of this. The Bulls are a playoff team because of his guts, leadership and skill. KIRK HINRICH is the 8th best player in the league.

What about Shawn Marion? He gets about 2 steals and 2 blocks per game, averages 21.8 points and 11.8 rebounds per game. Stat-wise, Shawn Marion is a better overall player than Tim Duncan (shoots better, less turnovers). If Duncan gets 7th, Shawn Marion deserves to be on the list.

Kevin Garnett. Sure he has struggled through this year, but look at what he has done ove the past few seasons. He had a slump this year, and I think he deserves to be on a better team and make it to the playoff and show his true potential.
