No Democrats, Republicans, Communists, Socialists, Whigs, liberals, conservatives, right or left wingers. Just a Party that will work for the good of American citizens.
National Health care, National drug plan, and stabilization of Social Security should be a must.
Getting our troops home, or at least getting other countries to pull their share of the load and help end it, should be a priority.
Not importing so many foreign goods unless exports match should definately be a priority.
Making sure that the poor receiving assistance that can work find jobs. (Make it a requirement) And crack down on deadbeat fathers and make them do jail time.
Concentrate on Education. This is a big one. Loans are harder to get for college students. The course requirements are not necessarily what the student is going to need after graduation.
No sanctuary for illegal immigrants. Our forefathers went through all the tests to live here. Comments?

To Rich E; If other countries don't pull their load, we pull out. You didn't read the statement. Deadbeat dads would be paid for manual labor, which would go to the kids, (something is better than nothing). I have solutions, I don't have enough space to list them here. It sounds like you have a lot of anger about the possibility of another political party. This is why I ask my question. Must we accept only what is given?

Further; I do not smoke "pixie dust". I breathe the air of Democracy. It includes freedom of speech. Perhaps you don't recognize it?

You've got the beginnings of a good platform, let's make it happen!

"Imagine", what pixie dust have you been smoking? It would be nice if we could just wave our magic wand and have all the problems of the world disapear. Social Security is in trouble because too many politicians made promises to get elected and had to pay for them, so they raided SS to get the money to pay for the problem they wanted to fix. Nat. healthcare/drugplan are just two examples of those promises. If we waited for other countries to pull their own weight we'd still be waiting for the French to pull their weight in the fight to defend themselves against Hitler. Putting a deadbeat dad in jail sounds great but insures he will pay nothing to support his child, and now makes him a burden on the rest of us... You have a lot of complaints but not many workable solutions. As long as we keep accepting sound bite answers without really asking the hard questions we will continue to elect Demacrats, and Arnold Swrtzngrn (?) Republicans.
