You have to cut out everything that is not essential to living. For a while you may not get to eat out at restaurants, rent videos instead of going out to movies, and eliminate all unnecessary spending. If you have movie channels on your cable or satellite, go to basic only. For a while I could only pay for things that could be turned off or reposessed, and everyone else had to wait. They threatened me with reporting to credit bureaus, but if you already have a bk, so what? Cut up any credit cards you still might have and learn to live within your budget.

I would suggest debt consolidation by refinancing your home. This will depend of how much equity you have in your home. Sounds like your divorce is not finalized and that'll be another hurdle to over come. Dealing with divorce and trying to conquer your financial burden is often overwhelming but there is hope. Even with bad credit you may still be able to consolidate your debt and have one manageable payment. Not to mention the tax advantages.
Being a mortgage advisor, I've recently helped a family get out of a financial burden that had them on the brink of losing their home and filing for bk. Their credit was shot and had less then 500 scores. I may be able to help you as well. Feel free to email me at info@adpsac.com

If you were just in a bk was it a 7 or 13? In a 7 if it's discharged.. you own nothing! If you filed 13 you may have problems fiding ways to consolidate... be careful or shady credit counselers!
If you want to improve your score, here's a great program: ScoreMax! http://www.communityempower.com/cfic/......
Use Loan Officer #139336
You can also surf the site to see more about the company if that would make you feel more comfortable! We'll send you all the information! This is such an easy way to raise your scores! It's becoming more and more popular!

I wear the same shoes as you, only I'm divorced six years ago, and isn't going better since then. I tell you what I will do as soon as I can : I will buy Michael Cheney's Google Adsense videos, with 97$, and I'll try to earn some money with the Adsense. Maybe I'll succeed. At least I can say that I tried. An other thing, the Success University, it's a low fee for start, only 2 $, and they give you a lot of information for that. If you don't like it, you wont continue. You could try Automaticbuilder.com, too, 2,95 $.
And an other thing, nobody pays me for this, I only answered to your question. Good luck.

See if you can consolidate your debt or modify your child support payments. That which you can't consolidate focus on paying off one bill at a time. Why do you still have debt if you filed bk?
