i have an rp300 multi effects pedal made by digitech. i have search there site and i have tried to make the effect myself but i just cant do it. i need help! also the boston effect is driving me crazy, i need that one too. thanks.

I can't tell you the effect that Wild Cherry used for that song, but I can tell you about Boston. The lead guitar player from boston is also an electrical engineer, or something close to that. He is the one that basically invented that distortion that is used on all Boston albums. I believe his name is Tom Scholtz, or that is close. His effects device isn't a "stomp box" like many musicians would think. It's actually an effects device that you hook on your belt, pants, or even guitar strap. This effects device is sold in many music stores, or you can buy it from a music magazine, like Musician's Friend. His company also makes a distortion device for a bass guitar also. I believe the name of it is called a Rockman. Good luck and happy jamming.
