Croatia played extremely well and have areas they can and will improve on and for that reason alone I don't think we have see Croatia play to their maximum ability. They definitely appeared more committed to the game than the Brazilians and often had them worried I believe. They will have learnt a lot today and will take many positives with them from their game V's Brazil. Many reasons are being offered for the lack lustre performance of Brazil, but we will have to wait and see what eventuates.
I hope nothing great eventuates when they play the Socceroo's...lol
Go Australia.. we are all so proud of you.

Croatia played well to only allow one goal. I thought Brazil would score at least 2. That performance certainly wasn't Croatia at their top form because they had many opportunities that were not converted into goals (best example: when Roberto Carlos free kicked the ball directly to a Croatian striker) Croatia will need to play better but considering they were up against the defending champions, they did fine. They should progress because I don't think Australia or Japan will be moving on.
Ronaldinho was the man of the match for me. He has tremendous skill.

I loved to watch Crotia play so effieciently and made it look so natural. High praises to them on probably the most celebrated loss that will come in the cup. Of course holding a power house like Brazil to 1 is great ....however I saw more than a handful of plays that could have turned to goals for Croatia if one player would have done just one little thing.....I think Croatia gets a load of confidence from this, they see that they are actually very high calibur players and plays with a sense of urgencey to not be eliminated.....Darkhorse anyone?

Prso must be the man of the match because he worked very very hard. He might not have succeeded in getting that goal, but he had great intentions. I think that Croatia played to the max, note also that one of their key players left the field injured just before halftime. 1-1 would have been a fine result. Brazil had beforehand announced they were gonna play up to 80% of their ability, but it looked more like 40% (hopefully for them).

Prso and Srna created enough opportunities to grab an equalizer but there class in front of goal was low. Three guilt edged shots directly at the Brazil Keeper Didi, he didnt even need to move . In the midfield Croatia were very tight and good going forward they will qualify easily along with Brazil.

Brazil never looked like their normal self, apart from the odd flash of genius football they just looked like it was a pub team after a heavy night of drinking. Croatia played it nearly as good as anyone by attacking and defending well.

Something similar like serbia-holland....
Brazil never really got going, and croatia couldn't find the net.
I wonder why is this always happens?
