trying to find info on soccer in USA, ie how many games they have won, players names, info about the players, anything of interest that would help my daughter with a school project!

Try a website about the MLS (Major League Soccer), you will find some information there.
The U.S.A. made the semi-finals of the World Cup in 1930- a great achievement. They beat England 1-0 in the 1950 World Cup which was a huge shock.
They are ranked 5th in the world at the moment, but that is because they play more games than other nations.

Soccer is not a popular sport in the USA they really play this game in the commenwealth countrys.
