Someone sent me this link recently. This is a really interesting article which claims that most women should be able to "menstruate" without a bloody discharge, primarily due to a change in diet (completely raw and organic). I haven't given this a try. I'm a little skeptical but still keeping an open mind. Let me know how this works for you ^_^

It's perfectly OK to take a vacation from your period once in a while.

If you absolutely don't want to take the pill you can try taking any ONE of the following herbs: AMARANTH, SHAVE GRASS or WITCH HAZEL. These herbs have astringent properties which can reduce bleeding - but they might not eliminate your period completely. You can find these herbs at a botanical/herb shop either in your city or online. You'll need to start taking the herb weeks ahead of your period as a tea infusion or in capsules.

If you're crazy enough to do it, you could not eat for a few weeks. That should work. Highly NOT recommended.
