Right on Rita!!! I like Better Then Ezra too! It seems like people don't recognize them very much. They are like...who??? I really like them too!

I found a great band call Hawk Nelson - they are more pop punk, but they are awesome. They have a song on "Yours, Mine and Ours" Technically they are christian rock, but that's ok! I don't hold that against them. U2, Switchfoot, and P.O.D. are considered christian rock, so yah!!! Love 'em!

I love going to shows! Got to see Cartel, New Atlantic, and The Starting Line here in Utah! Awesome! It rocked!!!

Another great band is The Rocket Summer - again...pop punk! But I like 'em!

I didn't use to like Country, but I really like a very select few songs and artists!

I think Rap tends to be degrading to women, but much to my shegrin...there are a few songs I like. But like country as a whole or equally, but I like some songs and some artists.

I can't stand Eminem or Ludacris!!! URG!

I LOVE rock, classic rock, blues, and alternative. There is nothing better for me than listening to a good guitar solo by one of my favorite artists or hearing one of my favorite rock songs playing on the radio. I play the guitar, and rock heritage means the world to me. I love Zeppelin, 3 Doors Down, AFI, Aerosmith, B.B. King, Metallica, Slipknot, Santana, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, the White Stripes--anything with a little bit or a unique sound or some rockin' awesome guitar. But.........

My LEAST favorite kind of music EVER is RAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AAAARGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!! I HATE IT! THOSE IDIOTS WEAR THEIR PANTS DOWN BELOW THEIR BUTTS, SING SONGS THAT DEGRADE WOMEN, IF YOU CAN EVEN CALL IT SINGING, IT'S MORE LIKE DEMONIC CHANTING TO OVERUSED BEATS WITH HALF-NAKED PEOPLE DANCING IN THE BACKGROUND!!!! IT'S AN AWFUL GENRE OF MUSIC, IT'S UN-AMERICAN, IT'S IMMORAL, AND IT'S DISGUSTING AND REVOLTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love alternative music and rock. My favorites are James Blunt, Teddy Geiger, Maroon5, Better Than Ezra, Goo Goo Dolls, Shakira, Kelly Clarkson, Jason Mraz, All American Rejects, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, The Delegates, Howie Day.

I'm not a huge fan of rap anymore.

I love rap and hip hop mainly southern rap and west coast like The Game, Tupac, Ice Cube, Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, Slim Thug, Bun B, Snoop Dog, Dr. Dre, Outkast...etc. Also I like R&Band reggeton like Tego Calderon, Hector y Tito, Zion y Lennox, and Daddy Yankee. I hate country and heavy metal.

I love Hip-hp and r&b,I like oldies, pop and some punk rock and like two country songs But i HATE Blue grass,Hard Metal rock and classical.The songs i love are We belong together ,White Tee and Crazy Frog.

My favorite would be Classic Rock or Hard Rock, but I can honestly say I do not hate any type of music. I think every genre has it's place in this world.

My tastes are vast. Really, just take a look below and you'll see.

I enjoy Rai, an Algerian type of pop music. I like Arabian pop like Amr Diab, El Cheb Khaled, and Mohamed Mounir. I also enjoy traditional Arabian music, and no one does it better than Oum Kolsom. Another Arabian favorite is Abdel Halim Hafez. I love the warbling vocal quality, sounds so exotic!

I love old school R&B like Teena Marie, The Brothers Johnson, Rick James, Stevie Wonder, The Sugarhill Gang, George Clinton and Parliament, The Commodores, Tavares. FUN! I saw Lady T a few yrs ago in concert, and she's GREAT on stage.

My FAV group is The Gipsy Kings! They have created their own style of music called rumba flamenca, and I've heard almost nothing else like it. I say "almost" because there is also Alabina, which is a group consisting of French Gypsy musicians and an Arabian lead singer. The sound is similar to rumba flamenca, and both the GK and Alabina mix the Eastern and Western sounds beautifully. It sounds so exotic!

I love love LOVE Latin music, specifically Cuban and Puerto Rican. Love salsa, rumba, chachacha, son montuno, danzon, huaracha, guaguanco, FUN! I was BLESSED to be able to see Tito Puente twice in concert. !El rey del timbal! I also love Celia Cruz, Oscar D'Leon, Eddie Palmieri, Richie Ray y Bobby Cruz, Cachao, Xavier Cugat. One modern salsa singer that I absolutely ADORE is Marc Anthony. There is such PASSION in his voice, and he's really really vocally talented.

As for rock, I like classic rock from the 70s like Aerosmith, Zeppelin, and Southern rock like Lynard Skynard (spelling?) and The Allman Brothers Band. I like some 80s metal like AC/DC, Motley Crue, and Ratt. I also enjoy 1960s psychedelic rock, like Jimi Hendrix and Jefferson Airplane. I LOOOOOVE the group Cream!!! I also like Santana - vintage stuff too, not just the new stuff. I went to a Santana concert way back when, and it was AWESOME.

I enjoy Blues, like: Janis Joplin (Janis ROCKS!!!), Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Etta James, Denise LaSalle, ZZ Hill, BB King, and Clarence Carter. Oh yeah, and Bobby Womack.

Yes, I like country. I don't love it, but I like it. My favorite country songs are "Don't Take The Girl" by Tim McGraw and "Who's That Man" by Toby Keith.

I grew up in the 80s, so I LOVE all the popular tunes from that time, especially anything from 1983. That year was SUCH FUN!!! Duran Duran, Psychedelic Furs, Yaz, Adam Ant, Culture Club, The Eurhythmics... I love it!!!

I enjoy "the classics" like Frank Sinatra, Nat "King" Cole, Sarah Vaughn, and Doris Day. My FAVORITE singer from this genre is Ella Fitzgerald. Man oh man, no one could sing like Ella. Her voice was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, I wish I could sing like her.

Did someone say Opera? I did. Placido Domingo, Leontyne Price, Mario Lanza, Victoria De Los Angeles, Cecilia Bartoli, Nicolai Gedda, Jose Carreras, and Andrea Bocelli. I took classical vocal training for a couple of years and had ambitions to become an opera singer, and I got pretty good. Not as good as these artists, but still very good. However, since I'm too chicken to sing in front of anyone, I nixed that plan, hehe.

Swing? Ohhhh yessss. I love Glen Miller, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, and modern swing like Brian Setzer and Big Bad VooDoo Daddy.

There are other songs/artists/genres that I love, but can't possibly list them all here, even though I keep editing and adding. Yes, I enjoy softer music like Sade and Barbra Streisand, but I prefer faster stuff. Wait, Luther Vandross... that's one big exception. I saw him in concert, he was awesome. It was like a Las Vegas show, all glitzy and glamourous.

As for what I don't like:
reggaeton, reggae, punk, acid rock, rap, modern R&B, hip hop, banda/quebradita, cumbia, corridos, bluegrass, alternative rock. Okay I like some alternative rock, but not much.
