i've had a perforated eardrum since I was 5 and up to know i could hardly hear on my affected ear.now, my other eardrum is ruptured.In the middle of my medication, the doctor said that the once pinpoint hole has gone bigger. why is this so?

Do not bother about the past. For better hearing, try to press the first knot from the joint of small finger and all the three knots of ring finger of the corresponding hand. If you have problem in your left ear, press the finger knots of left hand and right hand for right ear. You will observe pain. Press these points intermittently for 10 minutes daily without fail on empty stomach twice a day. Each finger has three knots. Also, put the white onion raw juice in your ear daily twice a day. You may need to get a sample of the fluid in your ear and get a C&S (culture and sensitivity) done to find another antibiotic. It sound like whatever the infective agent is has become immune to your medicine.

don't put anything in your ear,onion juice? I've been hard of hearing all my life , i wear 2 hearing aids. ENT(ear, nose and throat doc) said never to put anything in your ear. And yes many things can cause it to get better, best to see a ENT and an audiologist and see what treatment they want you to follow up with

Anything that causes increase pressure in the ear canal, such as sneezing, passing a hard stool, holding your breath while lifting something heavy.

don't put anything in your ear without getting advise from another specialist that could make it worse. so please try another doctor or someone that is a specialist.
