Ooh, good question and only one person correctly identified it. The answer (drumroll please) is LINDY HOP.

There are TONS of different styles in the swing genre unlike a previous poster said. You've got east and west coasts, lindy, jitterbug, charleston ( a predecessor to swing), jive, swank & more, I love it all but if you really want to get intimate with your partner find some blues swingers, damn that's the closest thing to legal public freakin'. Enjoy learning them all.

the dancing? it's just a regular form of swing. There is really only one "kind" of swing. Most of the moves you saw were based upon a basic step and then elaborated with several lifts.

What kind of swing? If you mean what the song was, I believe it was Louis Prima, "Jump, Jive and Wail" or something like that...

I don't know, but I still remember that blonde girl who was featured in the ad. She had such a great smile. It looked like she was really having fun.
