Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

I think everything happens for a reason, and most of the time we will not know the reason but at some point in out lives we will look back adn realize why this happened.

I assume the things that are happening are of two type. Good things and Bad things. Since the questioner did not say, lets start by saying everything that is happening, happens because of a certain reason (cause). Something has happened in ones life because of something (Falling in love) ! Somethings also happen because someone did it (Inflicting injury) !Other things also happens because we planned so (becoming educated and change career)

Yes! Everything that happens to us is either a temptation, a test, or a trial. And it makes a difference how we respond. We are more the deciding factor than we know.
We cannot be successful humans apart from God's laws and principles.
When things happen, we are supposed to decide for the good, but we don't always. If we are busy making quality decisions, we don't have time to look so hard at the misgivings of others.

Everything happens for a reason. Good or bad. If there were no reason for anything, then what would be the point in living?

No, if by reason you mean that every action or reaction is part of some divine plan. Yes, everything has a reason if you mean causality. The reason I wake up in the morning is because my alarm goes off. The reason my alarm goes off is because I set it and the power did not go off, etc.
If there is some divine plan it is beyond our comprehension so there is no use questioning it, only accepting it and trying to make the best with what whe have.

Yes, everything happens for a reason. I was a stupid girl after graduating high school and I got pregnant by a man who I thought was my knight in shining armor. Well, he ended up being a jerk in tin foil and I lost my baby at 12 weeks. I went through serious depression and one day it dawned on me, I had to leave if I was ever going to move on. I joined the Navy, met my husband and married him, and am now expecting our second child. When I lost my first baby, the jerk's mother reminded me that God had a plan and everything happened for a reason. Now I see that if I hadn't of gone through all of that, I would never have left home and met the man of my dreams.

Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes those reasons impact lives other than our own, however, making us wonder what the reasons behind certain events were.

Yes, I believe they do. You are in charge of what choices you make. From what happens after that usually happens for that reason. Something's in life test you and some can make you stronger or even weaker! Remember your choices is a main part of what happens next in your life and happen for that reason.

i guess it's very hard to say. that comes down to your point of view. i think for me it's pretty hard to believe that everything is random and coincidence. we may never know the reason behind something, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

a very long time ago we didn't know what electrons and protons were but they obviously still existed.

i think it's best not to focus on the reason why but instead to focus on what we can do in the moment. i think it is also important to always remember that we are all connected some way or another. it's the butterfly effect.

Well, I would say most do, if not all, though the reason is not always clear until years later. Sometimes there is no other reason than it is a reaction to choices we made, but sometimes I think there is 'a moral to the story,' so to speak. Life is a series of lessons...sometimes we need to learn patience, compassion, the spirit of cooperation...and sometimes we need to learn that we are strong, and smart, and capable of great things!
