There are hundreds of galleries in New York City, and thousands of doctors!

You need more information, the exact spelling of the name of the gallery that sold it.

Your artist, Marrow Paddock, had a showing at a gallery in Indianapolis, some years ago.

If you want to track down the painting, I suggest that you call the gallery, tell them what you need, and hopefully they will give you contact information for the artist, who, may or may not, know the name of the purchaser of the painting.

If they won't give you the contact info, which they probably will not, ask them to contact him and ask him to email you.

Or, you can spend a few days on "Google," and maybe you will find some leads.

Good luck.

Depends, was it sold through an auction house? If so, that will make it easier. If not, try posting an ad online or in NYC newspapers or medical journals inquiring about the purchase. If you can include a photo, even better.
