If the test was positive, then there is a 99% chance it was right. There is a small chance that it could be an ectopic, as other people have been saying, but the chances are pretty slim. I would call your doctor and explain your situation. More then likely, you will be seen sooner then normal just to rule out anything that could be wrong. Call your doctor and let know today and see what they say. Good Luck!!!!

The chances that the test was inaccurate is very little., I mean, my friend had her tubes tied and now she is nine months pregnant., so these things do get untied and you do get pregnant.. You should call your ob/gyn doctor and immediately make an appointment and they will draw some blood and there you will be 100% sure if you are or not expecting... Now, is your period late??? - - Because that would also be a very important factor, and more convincing as well.... congrats... I guess, this baby came into your life for a reason . . . .

The tests are pretty accurate; false negatives occur, but you very, very rarely hear of a false positive.
However, having had your tubes tied, it's a good idea to see a doctor sooner rather than later; you have a higher likelihood for ectopic pregnancy, which can be dangerous if not caught.
Good luck.

It is possible to get pregnant with your tubes tied...but it will more than likely end up a tubal pregnancy. That means that the embryo is growing in your tubes and not your uterus. You should call your doctor because you will probably have a miscarriage.

Call the office of the doctor who did the procedure. They'll probably want you to undergo some bloodwork to rule out accidental pregnancy. I've heard that there is a very small risk of pregancy - particularly ectopic which means you really need to find out for sure. Ectopic pregnancies only end badly.

If you received a positive test result and your tubes are tied, you need to call your doctor ASAP. Tubal pregnancies are more likely to occur than normal healthy pregnancies.

Tubal's aren't fool proof. The exact same thing happened to a girl I used to work with. 40+ years old, she had a tubal for over 10 years. She got pregnant too. Get to the doctor asap!!

If you had got your tubes tied and you are pregnant you can sue the doctor because you are not suppose to be able to have children.

Since you suspect you are pregnant I am sure you are going to be starting prenatal visits to the doctor soon. They will do another test to medically establish you are pregnant. Make an appointment. You'll find out for sure soon enough.
