If the pitching can hold up, they should be able to win the wild-card. I dont think they have a good shot at the Division, because of the White Sox. Personally, I think the Tigers are going to end up like the O's of last year. Have a strong first half, and have the divison lead when no one expected them to, and then go back to themselves. Its going to be a race between the White Sox and the Indians, but i see the White Soxs getting the Division, and the Indians getting the Wildcard.

All Cleveland has to do is win their games against Chicago and Detroit.
Detroit and Chicago are going to play eachother a bunch of times.... and probably split those games.
That worsens each of their records. Division games are going to be key for Cleveland, because they'll be able to jump a full game in the standings with each win.
The bottom line is that they've got to get hot after the all-star break though. They're a better team than they've been so far this year.

I don't think so. The best way for the Indians to win the division is to have the Gates of Hell open up and demons fly out and drag all the White Sox, Twins and Tigers players down into the pit of fire.

Yes they can. All that needs to happen is somebody from the Indians front office needs to sneak into the locker rooms of Detroit and Chicago and put steroids in the gatorade. And maybe if both teams lose all their players to a 50 game suspension the Tribe would have a shot.

The only way for the Indians to win that division is if aliens land one night and take the Tigers and the White Sox entire teams away on spaceships.

I don't think they can win the central. The Whitesox are too good of a team. That being said, I think if their starting pitching starts to come around, and their offense can get into some kind of rhythm they will be a force like they were at the end of last year. They need Jhony Peralta to start hitting like he did last season.

The answer is almost always pitching. The Indians can win the central, but they need better pitching to do anything beyond that.

Not gonna happen.
The Tigers & White Sox are both good teams.
The Tigers are for real this year.
It's going to be interesting to see The Tigers & White Sox battle it out for the Central.
The best Cleveland can do this year is .500, that's good for 3rd place.
