i know that this is a long shot but here it goes,,, i will be visiting disney on this coming sat june the 17th until the 22nd. i have searched high and low for discount tickets but REFUSE to do the time share thing. its a waste of time. i came up with 3 alternatives that might score me some luck:
1. anyone who lives in florida out there who would be willing to purchase the tix for me. i undertsand that you get a discount when doing so. i am paying whoever does this for me.we would meet up and i would give you the cost of tix and 50.00 for your troubles.
2. anyone who has season passes or unused hopper days on thier tickets i will pay you ti use them.
3. any others out there who can get them for a discount or even free i will pay you. example: employees of disney, military personnel etc.

i am serious and only expect serious people to respond thanks.

Hey. Your best bet is your option 3. The #1 option you had is a waste of your money. By the time you pay someone $50 you could have just bought the tickets yourself. The FL resident discount isn't that great. Your #2 option is iffy at best. They now scan your fingerprint when you buy hopper and season passes. When you go thru the line and the print doesn't match they will ask for positive id. The season passes have names and sigs on them. The hopper has either the last name or sig on it.

Here is an idea. Alot of time the "disney good neighbor hotels" get discount tickets that they can sell to you or their managers sometimes gets a pass that allows up to 4 people to be walked into a park.

Good luck!

I agree with the other answer. Option one just won't save you any money. The discount isn't much and by the time you pay someone to buy the tickets, you may spend more.

With option two, tickets are non-transferrable now. Disney will scan your finger when you go into the park and then that goes in their computer system. If your fingerprint doesn't match the computer, they will then ask for I.D. if your I.D. doesn't match or you are unable to produce the proper I.D. they will confiscate the ticket.

With option 3, this is a possiblilty. However, if you plan on actually paying for the ticket, be very careful. I've heard a lot of people trying these, using sites like eBay, etc. and then arriving at Disney, happy with their savings, getting to the gate and finding out the ticket couldn't be used. So, you will have to buy another ticket when you get there and end up spending more. If possible, I would try to go with the person as they purchase the ticket to be on the safe side. Otherwise, I would be really careful.

What I would do is purchase the tickets now from either Disney or your travel agent. You will save money over buying them at the gate and you know that the source is reliable. Since you are so close you could do a will call.

Again, just be very careful if using anyone other than Disney or a travel agent.

Have a great time!

Hi there,

Just buy the tickets when you get here.
1. can't have to show proof of Florida residence and if you're going to pay the 50 bucks then you've gone over the gate price.

2. Season passes and hoppers are coded to you, and are not transferable. Literally when the ticket owners enter the park the ticket is coded with a measurement of their bone structure in their hand. It's 1,000 times more accurate than a finger print.

3. Disney cast members would be fired on the spot no questions asked for selling a pass to you.

Seriously, Just buy the tickets when you get here.

Sorry, I live 10 miles from Florida :(
Try www.disneyworld.com, that's all I can tell you
It's almost impossible for out of state visitors to get discounts unless a family member works there.

I'd be careful with whatever you do because they scan you finger for passes and some tickets now. You're best bet is option 3. good luck.
