That is the ultimate question that all religions and science is trying to answer. Unfortunately, that is something you must research and decide for yourself. A scientist might tell you that the energy your body creates is consumed by itself in movement and bodily functions. When one dies, the body ends producing large amounts of kinetic energy, it becomes potential energy, which waits until something else uses it.
When you talk about spirit, you're talking about religion. The fact is that no one knows for sure -- you have to decide that for yourself with the god you seek out.

The energy that would be relevant to the conservation of energy is either kinetic, chemical, or heat energy in this context. The heat energy dissipates into the environment, heating it slightly (in other words, the body cools). The kinetic energy (inother words, the energy of motion of the blood, heart, limbs, etc) mostly gets converted into heat energy also. As for the chemical energy, it either gets used by other living things (if the body is eaten) or, through decomposition, the chemicals decay into simpler chemicals releasing heat. In other words, most of the energy either gets converted into heat or gets used for food for some other living thing.
The energy of our 'life force' is mostly stored in a chemical called ATP which would decay rather quickly after death. One reason we die after about 4 minutes without oxygen is that we only have enough ATP to fuel our brains to last that long unless more is manufactured (and this requires oxygen).

The energy you are talking about is cosumed from the fall to the ground, or sound, and when you die the chemical energy stored inside gets broken down.

What happens to the spirit after we die? I believe that as soon as we die The spirit goes straight to GOD, Who I believe is the one that gave us life in the first place. I know that some people don't believe this but I do.

remember engery cant be CREATED or distroied, so where did our energy come from, or better yet do we have such a cosmic energy. as for or biomechanical energy. the fat cells use to convert the energy rot, the last bio-electrical impluse travels to its ending point and converts into kenetic which then does work, and moves another object till something obstructs it.

when we die we stop converting food into enegy thats why start to lose heat, if we are burned it is turned into heat
there is no such thing as cold, just no heat, or no energy

Immediately upon death our spirits are either lifted into heaven by God or the spirit descends into hell depending upon the judgement of the Lord.
