Having Maldini would be great but I think Italy's doing just fine...

Maldini is not too old, Roberto Baggio was the same age when he retired.Baggio was an excellent player and so is Maldini..Unfortunately Baggio retired due to his knee not because he didn't want to play.Whoever thinks that 39 is old you're insane!!
As for answering your question Italy is doing great without Maldini.
