I would have to take the Sox staff over the tigers only because they have the post season experience. The tigers sure do have some good young arms though.

The White Sox. The Sox staff are proven winners. Contreras has won his last 15 regular season starts. Add in Buehrle and Garcia. The Tigers staff is very young and just now producing. A few years ago, Tigers pitchers lost 20 games.

Top 5 Rotations:

1) Chicago White Sox - Hard to argue with Burlhe, Garland, Garcia, Vasquez and Contreras.
2) Houston Astros - Pettite will improve after the break, Clemens will be back, and their others aren't bad. They've got a run in them.
3) Oakland - Zito, Harden, Haren, Loiaza and Blanton
4) Detroit
5) NY Yankees.

Secondly, I'd rather have Chicago's staff. I hate gushing over the team... but they are the best out there right now.

I would rather have the Whitesox pitching staff, because they are six deep if Garland ever gets it going.

That being said top pitching staffs:

1. Whitesox
2. Astros
3. Cardinals
4. Dodgers
5. Tigers

Gee... The Tigers are really playing good baseball right now. Jimmy Leyland really has them thinking like winners.

Chicago Cubs, if they can get healthy can compete, especially with the rookie's of late! Marmol, and Sean Marshall have looked GREAT! Prior will be coming back soon, and Carlos Zambrano is one of the game's best right now.

i imagine that's a three way race between the Phillies with Halladay, Lee and Hamels; Tampa with value, Shields, Moore, Niemann and Hellickson and Anaheim with Weaver, Santana, Wilson and Haren. The Giants team is nice a million, 2 yet after Lincecum and Cain, Bumgarner and Zito go away somewhat to be wanted.
