Well, here in our country I think they are faking the game show!
Ever since the game started airing here in our local TV, all of the players are local celebrities! I am starting to think that they are just doing it for the TV's rating and not actually giving away the money!
Sure, they pay the player, but I think they are just paying them talent fees rather than giving the exact money which they have won.
How about in your country? Who plays there? Celebreties or local people?

Ever since the game show scandal of the fifties, all game shows are heavily regulated and as such cannnot give answers, fake winners, or otherwise tamper in any way how the results come about. You will see this disclaimer in the final credits. As long as you meet the requirements, they have to pay you what you win, otherwise risk fines by the FCC for the network or company that produces the game show.

Well, from what I've seen of that show, it's all been regular people. There have been celebrity appearances, like Celine Dion, but she wasn't actually playing, she was just there to up the ratings. I do think some of it is planned, but that's how most "reality tv" is these days. Real reality wouldn't get good ratings.

In Australia it's just guys/gals off the street. What a bore - absolute;ly no skill at all. I think it's copied from an English show.

I think the show is very boring and almost always disappointing to the players! Howie is a loser!

DUDE they got hott girls man! YE it is kind of fake. The producers already no know in wich case the MILLION is in.
