IF Democrats would spend half the time they spend criticizing Bush figuring out WHY their candidates lost to Bush in the first place there might be hope for their party.
If they keep going like they are going in two years Bush will be gone and another Republican will take his place and they will still be sucking sewage.
Wake up Democrats! The Coffee is on and perked. Get away from 'special' interests. Start considering ALL the people AGAIN! Give the US public some GOOD ideas and GOOD candidates. And you just might get back to where you used to be.

hi Canada! i did not yet watch Oprah (taped it) yet I did see his interview with Matt Lauer the evening in the previous. Bush had 2 issues over Obama. He loves his usa and wears that on his sleeve and he's approachable (or supplies that effect). Obama comes off as elite and aloof.

I think it is a movie which has not been written yet, as we do not have hindsight yet to see all of the ramifications of his policies yet. For now, I might venture to guess something like "Oklahoma!" with him trying to keep the rich cowmen and farmers (symbolically speaking, as I don't think there are too many rich cowmen and farmers anymore) happy while half the country complains that they don't want to watch "Oklahoma!" in Iraq, or they get mad that he signed the Decency in Broadcasting Enforcement Act and turn their back on "Oklahoma!" altogether so they can go back to watching raunchy stuff. There you go.
