I think that he would easily beable to fix the whole. They don't because if they did fix the whole in the boat, then they could go back to civilization and the show wouldn't be able to be called Giligan's Island anymore....

I can not explain that one, it seems that if he can make a coconut radio that he could fix a hole in a boat. Good question. Maybe he didn't have the right supplies?

Furthermore how did they get so far from Hawaii? a three hour tour would keep them in sight of land-What the hell do you look out way out in the ocean, if you are not fishing?

If i could only figgure out a way to get Thurston out of the way, I could get the Skipper to mary me to Mrs.Howell. then I get rid of her, after I have a legal marriage document, and i can have both Maryann, and Ginger and all that money to finance my evil world domination scheme, but I have to kill off those other two witnesses, Skipper and Gilligan, without Maryann or Ginger knowing what I've done. Then i will get out that can of resin and fix that piddly hole ......
