We are expecting in October.... We both know that our lives are very different but we both don't want to be apart.... It's rather difficult.. we try to work things out all the time but nothing comes of it. Our family values are very different... I'm passive on a lot of things but still a stern parent to my five year old with previous relationship (hardly). But he is a "if you dont eat your dinner, you don't eat at all" kind of parent. We cannot come to terms.
This is the hardest decision I've ever had to make. I dont want to be with someone who I just cant relate to anymore. Since I've been pregnant, everything in him has changed..

You already know what you need to do, but since you asked, I'll tell you. You need to take your 5 year old chiild, pack your things, and move on with your lives. Do it before the baby comes, because it deserves stability in it's life, not chaos and confusion. Good Luck!!

well, the fact that your pregnant could really be emphasizing the situation.... not disrespect but it is a well known fact that pregnant women are emotional wrecks, and spend alot of time stressing and overanalyzing things.... but thats ok, its our birth right! honestly, if you really feel in your heart that you cannot make it work with this person, dont waste each others time anymore, but remember opposites attract and make it work everyday.... my parents are polar opposites, and have been married for 22 years this months... they have totally different parenting styles, and yes it was hard, but the best things are hard, and we're all alive..... give it some time....

Good Luck and Congratulations on the baby!

No I would not. Think of it this way, why should everyone be miserable? As long as he still is a good father should be your only concern. Good luck with this and your upcoming baby.

Don't sacrifice your happiness. Your child will not be happy if you're not.
