I am 47 . I started my period at the age of 12. I have went through menopause already and i no longer have periods. so that is 35 years i had one.

Until you go through menopause. You can plan on having your period until you are in your late 40's to early 50's. That is unless you have a hysterectomy, and then you no longer have periods.

They last until the woman hits menopause, which is usually around age 51. Some women get menopause in their 40s, though.
