hmmmm. Sorry to say, exercise. But for the TRULY lazy, liposuction, bariatric surgery...

All rather extreme and unnecessary if you are JUST plain lazy. Exercise and a balanced diet. Get a pedometer--it will get you motivated when you see just how lazy you are. Trust me. I'm lazy, too, but I got one and found just how sluggish I was. (yikes!) Seeing a relative who is just as lazy have a heart attack or having issues because of diabetes might make you move, too. It worked for me, as of last year I've lost more than 50 pounds. At my worst, I weighed over 250 pounds. I weigh a lot less now.

I use an excercise bike on my lunch hour (30 minutes=6 miles) then use the other half hour to eat a light lunch (lean cuisine. Their food is excellent and a great variety.) Drink more water. After a while, you might fnd you like the rush you get from moving around--and not huffing and puffing from being out of breath. Watching your legs and body become more muscular is a great motivator, too.

If you don't want to do at least that: 30 minutes a day 5 days a week on a bike, or walk for 20-30 minutes everyday...than cut out soda. It is liquid candy.

Soda Math for Weight Loss
FOR WEIGHT LOSS ANSWERS

Here's simple math on the impact of cutting down soda.

If you consume 1 can of regular soda a day, how many pounds would you lose if you eliminate that?

The Math:

1 can of regular soda contains about 150 calories. Giving up 1 can a day is equivalent to giving up 150 x 365 = 54,750 calories a year.

For every 1000 calories burnt you lose 110 grams of fat, or about 1/4 pound.

Therefore, giving 1 can of soda a day equals not putting on 54,750 / 1000 x 110 = 6022 grams, or about 13 pounds.

You can be 6 kg or 13 lb a year lighter by giving up that 1 regular can of soda a day.

Good luck.

I think the motivation will come naturally when you're ready. I quit smoking over a year ago and gained quite a bit of weight. I'm only just now beginning to work on losing it. Like a lot of people I substituted food for the cigs and now I have a totally different battle to fight. But after taking a REALLY good look at myself and trying to see me as others do, I realize it's time. I'm motivated and I'm committed to get healthy. Good Luck to you and to me!

Diet, and Exercise. It's not rocket science. Eat less calories than you burn and you loose weight. Extreme Diets can be dangerous, however short term low carb diets can work to jump start your weight loss. The ultimate answer is exercise. If all else fails walk. It's a proven fact that people who walk more than five miles a day will reach their natural body weight within a year. Unless they are grossly overweight when then start off.

Stop being lazy. Get some exercise. Have some self-control when you stuff your pie-hole. The weight will drop off. Is your will stronger than you stomach? You're about to find out.

Find a way to "sneak" exercise into your daily routine. Park farther away from your work, home, shopping and walk. Eat your last meal 4 hours or more before bed. Perform a few push-ups, crunches and bodyweight squats during every commercial break, clean your house at double time while listening to your favorite music, and so on...
