Try shaving that patch of hair in another direction. If you generally shave with a downward stroke. Shave the burn area with an upward stroke. Shaving is done in the direction of/with the hair grain. Some areas of hair on the face point in a different direction, from the majority direction. Experiment. It worked for me.
