I think he's probably always been on the edge of being a nut bar. He thinks he knows how to play the "image" game, and the fist-pumping overly-enthusiastic exceptionally-confident person he pretends to be when on camera is how he thinks people should see him. Almost like, "Dammit, I'll show them how happy I am!" Also, he used to have better people controlling and shaping his image than he did last year. He had fired his publicist and was using his sister. HUGE mistake! She seemed to revel in him being a nut job. Well, it may have achieved something in that he's talked about so much more than he used to be, but when people go to see your movie and laugh at your getting beaten up, is that the result you want? Maybe. Because at least they went to the movie.

I believe that Tom finally lost it on the morning outside Brentwood. We came up to get some photos and like usual he was exiting his gate on his way somewhere. Donny jumped in front of the truck, i dont know why and started yelling at him. Tom tried to back up but I guess he changed his mind. He made a shart right and took off but then clipped donny. He was forced to stop but he wanted to be all pushy and breif. Because I needed money I gave him a proposition. He could pay us to go, just 2 grand or we can call the cops. He had that money on him. Crazy. At that time he just sort of gave me a look like Im going to kill you.

I think that look in his eye that day leads me to believe that was when he just snapped. It was like three weeks later he was on Oprahs couch dacing around. Nut bag,

More than likely he's always been a nut bar. It's just become more evident in the past three years

It was either when he became a Scientologist or when he divorced Nicole.... or it could have been the result of all the shock treatments he got as a youngster....
