Actually, in autopsies, they have found in homosexuals a piece in the brain that is about the size of a grain of sand. It is not found in heterosexuals. Interesting, eh??? It really is biological!

Neither. If it was a learned lifestyle, then why do gay people come from all walks of life, and all cultural/societal backgrounds? If it was learned, you wouldn't expect any gay people coming from, say, strict religious backgrounds, would you? And yet, they do.

Also, it has been established since the late eighties that homosexuality is no longer considered a defect or disease. If it was a defect, then there would be some sort of cure or at least a treatment to relieve the "symptoms." There isn't. And people who claim to be "ex-gay" are fooling themselves.

Homosexuality is an evolutionary trait that comes from the need to stabilize the growing population. As overpopulated as the world is today, I'd say we need a few more homos!

Oh, and why are homosexuality and the anti-christ mentioned in the same question? They have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

It is not a learned lifestyle.
It is not a hereditary defect in the outermost regions of the brain.
What does the question about homosexuality have to do the the anti-christ in histories past and present?

I don't think its either. I don't consider it to be a defect at all because that implies that there's something wrong with it or that its a bad thing. I don't think its a bad thing, it just is what it is. Why do some guys like Asian girls so much? Why do some girls like bald guys so much? Are those hereditary defects too? There are plenty of instances of homosexual behavior in nature, so I don't think its learned, I think its just a natural development in some people. They just have an affinity for the same sex. It could be hormonal or a chemical response to factors such as pheramones, etc that works differently than straight people, I'm not sure, but definately not a "defect"

It is neither learned (where would I have learned it? I certainly was never exposed to it) nor is it a defect. It is quite like part nature and part nurture, like many things in life are. There is growing evidence supporting the idea that there is at least some biological basis for sexuality.

And my faith is built on the Bible as well. I'm also aware of the context of most of the verses people like to quote. I'm also aware of better translations which aren't as clear cut as out modern translations when it comes to these issues. As an aside, you sin and I sin, regardless of the specifics and whether or not my being gay is a sin. We do so on a very regular basis. I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I am living my life the way I believe he would have me live according to what I have read and learned through experience and others. I seek forgiveness for my sins on a regular basis and believe that Christ was the Son of God. In the Good Book, that's what it takes to get to Heaven.

And please, if you're going to quote Leviticus, abide by the rest of levitical law. Let me know how the stonings go for you. And again, it's interesting to note that in that passage in the Latin version, the verb for "lie" actually assumes its "converse" definition which is dictated by the "***" which in Latin is "with". There are other words they could have used for "lie" had they meant such. Just some subtleties of languages to ponder.

As for the Anti-Christ, the correct answer has been established: there have been and currently are many Anti-Christs. By definition an Anti-Christ is any who opposes the teachings of Christ. (2 John :7)

Um, how about none of the above. No one ever taught me how to be bi, and I don't have a lifestyle, I have a life. And there is nothing defective about me, unless you're proposing that numerous species contain the same defect... in which case it ceases to be a defect. It must be rare in order to be a defect, and if many people have it, it logically ceases to be a defect.

And I don't believe in the anti-christ, that is a fairy tale that Christians tell each other so they can maintain the hope that someday their beliefs will be validated. But I don't need anyone to sign and certify my religion, I know it is good and right because of how it encourages me treat other people and members of this planet. I don't fantasize about the destruction and suffering of others to make me feel better about my gods.

Sexual drive is a result of the hypothalmus of the brain. A study was done on the size of the hypothalmus of fifty known gays (lesbian and homosexual) and results published in Discover magazine years ago . The results were trimodal; meaning the lesbians had hypothalmuses the size of heterosexual males, the homosexuals had hypothalmuses the size and weight of heterosexual females, and the bisexuals fell into a bellcurve grouping statistically between the two. The study was convincing and definative, although discover was quick to point out the study wasn't "legal" because it wasn't a double-blind study. In my opinion there will never be a "legal" study if the government can stop it, because then gays would have to be regognized by the law as "physically different" and have to be covered under anti-discrimination laws and given full rights.

I don't know what you mean by the outermost regions of the brain. What I do know is that research has clearly shown that the brains of homosexual males and females have some structural differences from those of heterosexuals in the anterior hypothalamus,

Other research also suggests that high levels of prenatal steroid hormones may be causally associated with the sexual orientation in lesbians and bisexual males. However it is not clear whether these levels are causal in the prenatal or postnatal stages. Some researchers even suggest some men have genes that predispose them to homosexual orientation, but as far as I know, these genes haven't been identified.

So I would suggest based on the current research that homosexuality is primarily biological in origin.

Don't understand the Anti-Christ part either.

I think the person who would best answer that question is the one who is a homosexual. Most of us heterosexual think we know the best answers, but why? We were born in a world with many religions that have been here too long confusing or helping. Someone who throws all the books of laws, educacion, religion, science and starts from zero to answer a question like this I think will say 'It's not birth or learning habit, it's a feeling that we have to let go when we are ready. It's in the word 'love'. We feel love for the opposite sex since we are like 5 years old...you know who you feel it with and that's all that matters. '

I truly believe that homosexuality is wrong and a stink in God's nostrils. It is neither a "learned lifestyle" nor a "hereditary defect". Satan comes in many ways and uses perversion to manipulate people. Not saying that they are "possessed", but Satan is definitely ruling their lives. As far as the anti-christ, I am not sure who I would consider.

I believe a person chooses to lives that lifestyle...they may say that God made them that way or they were born that way but i think not, homosexuality is an abomination of the Lord, and these people need to read the Bible...it's sad as they think they are going to heaven..but on the other hand if a person was born mentally ill and doesn't know no better then i think the Lord will take that into consideration
