What are the facts? Is the wife completely disabled and out of it? If so, how long has she been in that state? If your friend is doing the hubby because he hasn't had sex in 15 years and the wife is out of it, I might just keep my mouth shut. This is certainly a violation of the CNA's ethical obligations, but sometimes you have to just keep your mouth shut because there's more justice in just keeping quiet.

Also - remember that the wife is already in bad shape. Do you want to push her over the brink by revealing this information? I doubt it.

Isn't there some kind of ethical code which CNA's must abide by. Perhaps you should do some research and look to report her. Because..that is seriously discustable.

She can lose her license or certification for misconduct. Does she work for an agency or did the family hire her privately? If she works via an agency - they can fire her immediately and put the kibosh on her chances of getting hired by anyone else.

She's harming the wife not helping her. Youu need to say something to stop it - be the better person - you'll feel good about it in the end.

wouldn't you want the same?

You can't make it stop; you can tell her what you think of her behavior, though. It's unprofessional and sleazy to boot. I would worry that she would sneak and do my husband if she doesn't care even about jeopardizing her working situation for this illicit affair. Watch your back, babe.

I think she's taking the consoling a bit too far with the hubby. I would do what I could to get her replaced...

Report her to the authorities (conflict of interests) and to the agency which put her there.

That is just sick, and I wonder why you are friends with such a shallow selfish person like that.
