After yesterday's 3-0 loss to the Czechs, do you think the US will bounce back and have a shot at the title?

Doubtful.
Based on World Cup history, it's unlikely for teams to rebound after such a thrashing.

I feel that the U.S. team has some really good players on it and they are playing Italy in the next game. Italy is ranked 13 in the world rankings. This means the U.S. is 8 rankings higher than they are being ranked 5. After Italy we get an easy game against 48 ranking Ghana. Also Italy played Ghana today and won 2-0. Seeing how poorly ranked Ghana is I think Italy should have beat them by at least 3 if they are such a great team. So I feel it's an easy win against Ghana and probably a 1 goal win against Italy moving us on to the next round. However I feel they have no true chance at winning the entire title. I think the U.S. will lose to Brazil in the first match of the second round and the final will be the Czechs beating Brazil.

Yes it;s possible/ Right now we have:
Czech Rep 3 USA 0 Czech 3 points
Italy 2 Ghana 0 ITALY 3 points

next game:
draw between Italy/USA, and a win from Ghana over Czech
Italy 4 points Czech 3 p Ghana 3 p USA 1 point
(it looks bad ..... yeah, but still with chances ... slims .... but posible)

Win from Italy over Czech, Win USA over Ghana
Italy 7 points, USA 4 points Czech 3 points Ghana 3 points

From there on, each game is a new start for everybody, beginning with the round of 16 and ending in the finals. Chances are equal for all the teams that pass to the round of 16, meaning all of them have a shot at the title. Each team have in there hands their own destiny.

SO GO USA.....

Italy is next and they aren't as flat as we were. We could turen it around, the 4-5-1 approach was garbage and the change to 4-4-2 wasn't any help. The US team needs to attack since we will never defend these teams to shut outs. 5-3-2 is retarded and 4-4-3 is kiddie school. We have to score early so gearing up with a 4-4-2 with a serious attempt at "sweeping" could beat Italy and give us a chance. This momentum might take the emotion to a level to defeat Ghana and put us through. Without a rebound that beats Italy, I think it's over though.

To be honest with you, I'd love to see them go to the next round. Have a shot at the title, no way! The US will play Italy next, an impossible win. Their chance was to beat the Czechs, and Ghana, and loose to Italy, but that is over now. I consider it a miracle if they tie with Italy, then beat Ghana. In this case they will have 4 points and possibly qualify if Italy and Czech Republic also tie. But then we go by goal differential and the US is trailing by 3 goals allowed.

The dark side of the force is upon us....

bounce back, yes. have a shot at the title, no. the u.s. has never won a w.c. match on european soil, and saturday may be different, but they will struggle to tie italy on sat. and squeak by ghana. they looked much too flat and passive yesterday, and hopefully they will pick it up, but to beat even struggling England would be a long shot.

They need four points to qualify from the group, which means having to at least tie Italy and beat Ghana, not exactly a very likely event

Definetly not at the title. Maybe at the next round, but not title.
