Im an indian student. im doing my engineering now, and i want to become a pilot. i need to know how i have to go about this and where in the US can i do so.

there are many aviation schools across the nation that will train you as a pilot and you can obtain your CPL just search Aviation Schools and your bound to find one in your area.

go to the website AOPA.org they have volumes of info and can guide you thru the restrictions there may be on your citizenship, etc. if that is your concern, etc.
They also have a phone number to speak with advisors which will be posted on the site.

why do u want to be a pilot if your an engineer .sounds fishy to me
