Making assumptions only he was in Egypt for 10-12 years. He was in the synagogue at the age of 12. His family fled to Egypt to escape Herod. Herod had ordered that all males aged 2 and under be killed. Thus one can assume that Jesus was at the oldest 2 when he fled to Egypt. So he lived there for at least 10 years and at most 12 years.

Matthew chap 2 verses 13-21 Show Jesus was taken to Egypt because an angel told Joseph in a dream that his life was in danger from King Herod. Not the King Herod who beheaded the prophet John, his cousin but a previous King Herod for there were several by that name just as with the romans who had several Caesars. He returned by the time he was two years old & moved to Nazareth where he finished growing up.

He fled to Egypt with his family when Herod was killing all the male jewish children 2 and under.
He returned by the age of 12 when he was taking instruction at the temple.
The bible does not specify an exact time so you have to assume
between 10-12 years.

I really don't know if there is any evidence that has been documented to sustain whether or not Jesus Christ had ever lived in Egypt. But, according to documents other than the holy bible, he could had lived in egypt till King Herold has died, but, that is guess work according to Bible Scholars.
