Was it stuff you actually wanted to throw out or was she basically throwing your stuff out without your consent? How long have you two been together before moving in together.
If she is that controling with your personal property, how controling will she be with the future of your relationship. Something to think about if you haven't already.

My wife has been slowly getting rid of everything I own for the past 20 years. Get used to it. Men have horrible taste and we keep junk. Get yourself a shed or workshop and put stuff you like in there, and make it off limits to estrogen.
This is like a test. If you love and value her, you will give up all worldly possessions for her. That is how she sees it.

Sure is, mine tried to do the same, Hvae to discuss and compromise on things or she will walk all over you. We alwasy agree 1 weekend a month we will see our friends without each other around been going great since then!

No when I moved in with my boyfriend he moved his things so my things could fit he also did throw things away to make room for me

Yeah it is a mistake. Keep your stuff if she says to toss it out...toss her out. It shows she is selfish and only cares about herself.
