There surely can be. Some people always seem to know and have it together, and some people don't find out until much later in life, but wether you believe in God, destiny, or just some supernatural force, there is a purpose for everyone. Many people find it through religion, others through a career, but "finding yourself" usually comes in time spent alone, doing what you want to do. When you feel you can't take it anymore... take a trip, go away for a few days, call out sick and do something you really feel you NEED to be doing. Granted, you can lose yourself again, often through abuse of drugs or alcohol, stress, loss of a loved one, personal tragedy, but the great (and scary) thing is that life is a journey. In a moment, we can feel we have it all figured out and the next feel entirely lost... but in the end we are like walking punchlines to a great joke that we'll only be told when it's all over. The best advice I can give you is to search yourself for what you REALLY want to be doing, where you've always wanted to be, and do whatever you can to get there. Don't make excuses about money, school, work, etc... life is bigger than all those things, and if you truly are searching, you shall surely find. God bless you,

Brian

I've been told that I seem to know who I am from a very young age. And even now I seem to know myself better than most others know themselves. I will say that the only thing that makes me confident that this is so is that I feel a complete sense of peace about myself. Aside from cosmetic purposes (more for fun than anything else) I wouldn't want to change a thing about me. I know how I react in most situations, I know how to bring peace to myself, and I know where to look inside myself for that piece of enlightenment I may need at any given moment. I'm also manic-depressive, but the times when I am fulfilling my life purpose and living by who I am, depression can't even touch me. I think when you have found out who you really are, there's just a new awareness to it, and you know that you have found those answers.

The moment you say "I know who I am!" is the moment you no longer know. We're all constantly changing and evolving with every experience. Knowing that this change is the only constant is the key. So you can say "I know who I am right now", understanding that you may be slightly different tomorrow.

there is no 'such thing is u just know' when u know that u have found out who u truly r then u r content with ur whole being. u r 100 percent satisfied in everything. ur health ,ur body, everything. once u feel u lack nothing and u r full u will realize that is it complete. truly it is once ur fully established in christ. i am telling u from experience.

If there was a true answer, you wouldn't need to ask the question. Just try and search deep within yourself for the answer.
