No the Steelers arent screwed. Firstly, Big Ben will be back before the season starts. Secondly, its a veteran team that isnt LED by Ben, its led by Hines Ward and Joey Porter. Thirdly, Charlie Batch will be able to fill in for a while til Ben is ready to play.

Two words for Big Ben: Kellon Winslow! Don't screw around on a bike with so much riding on your shoulders. Ben wasn't the key to their success. They just need a quarterback that can hand off a ball which is not that hard to find.

Not screwed at all. Charlie Batch already showed he could still play last year. Add to that that Big Ben is expected to be ok for the season opener and you can see that we have no problems.

Yes, Big Ben will miss a great deal of preseason workouts and lose weight during his recovery.

He will recover and learn that wearing a helmet on and off the field is important
Steelers will still be good next year. He may not feel as invincible as he once did but that won't affect his performance on the field

No. Its not career threatening, although it was their QB to go down, we cannot forget that its not the QB who wins the SB, its the team. He will be back either beg. of season or half way through.
