Took it to be repaired and they cannot find a replacement for it, otherwise there is nothing else wrong with the car. The price has to be resaonable.

Doesn't that car have all the same parts as a Kia Sephia from that same year? You should call the manufacturer and ask. I'm not sure why I think this but I'm pretty sure that, inside, they're the exact same car. If that's the case you can call around to those U Pull it or junkyards if the regular auto parts store doesn't have it. I'm not sure where you live but here , if you can't find it at Autozone, you can usually call the junkyard and get it. If you pull it yourself you pay next to nothing because the car is just sitting in the junkyard anyway.

Shell almost had it.

The Ford Aspire platform was the spring board for the Kia Rio platform.

Ford contracted the Aspire out to Kia, you might see if a Kia Rio's transmission is a match.
