Of course not silly. *sarcasm*

Thank you for raising this point. I'm tired of being called anti-American because I care about this country going to hell in a handbasket.

I don't think not supporting the President is anti American. I used to get upset when people were slamming Clinton. What I think is Anti American is not supporting our troops, calling the President names like Hitler, accusing him of being a terrorist. Having Jimmy Carter go to other countries and slamming the President. Have someone like Murtha accusing our troops of murder. having kerry say Our troops are terrorizing Iraqis people in the dark of the night! That's what I call Anti-American,.
Didn't even bring up the Hollywood scum!
Yea! I know murtha has some medals, my Father had more medals on his chest then Murtha ever seen!

not supporting the president is not anti-american if the president's policies do not promote the growth and welfare of the country. Further, one can support the president on a policy by policy basis. Overall, President Bush has done a fairly good job, his domestic spending habits and stance on immigration notwithstanding. President Clinton oversaw a period a phenomenal economic growth and whether he was responsible for it or not, deserves to take some credit. OTOH President Clinton's foreign and defense policies played a big part in emboldening our enemies to attack on 9/11.

Who said not supporting the President is Anti American? I think not supporting the troops is, but you don't have to support the President to be a great American. You can openly disagree wtih them and not get your head cut off like in middle eastern countries all you want.

It is our duty as good citizens to act as part of the checks and balances system. Therefore we must question the president, regardless of political party, at every turn. Dissent is one of the MOST American things a person can do. Our country was founded on it. Blind servitude ultimately serves no one.

Id the president cannot bear scrutiny, then perhaps he should not be the president.

The Bush Administration insults every intelligent American every time one of them opens their mouth. I have disagreed with this Administration from day one, because I was already aware of their intended agenda which they have carried out while using the mass media to put the American people in the state of delusion through media misinformation. I have always spoken the truth against this administration. I have also had direct attempts on my life from this Administration and been politically terrorized to the the point they have disabled me as a result of my speaking out. That is correct, you didn't misread this.

I was assualted at my last four places of employment on behalf of the Bush Administration after turning in the local Medical University (St. Louis Washington University) to the FBI for illegal government sponsored (NIH) bioweapons research, development and environmental testing on American citizens here in St. Louis. At a time when the FBI was getting billions in funding to protect us from foreign biological WMDs threats, they were telling me intentional US government biochemical domestic poisoning of American citizens wasn't their job - it was the EPAs. I filed for SS disability due to political terrorism by the Bush Administration and was granted it first time around in four months with no appeal and not so much as a phone call.

Did you know your elected officials can submit your community for human experiments under the US Office of Research Integrity? And they do - look it up. This town is so stupid they just can't figure out why all chronic diseases are up 20% in the last six years and why there is a Walgreens drugstore about every four blocks now. Washington U./BJC hospitals are the biggest employer in the entire region. That happens when you're running a full scale environmental criminal toxic tort. I witnessed the testing development and turned them into the police, FBI, and DOJ. All I got was threats, assaults, and illegal incarcerations on false affidavits as though I'm violent, but have never raised a finger against anyone - even while I was being physically assaulted. Those hired and paid to protect us say it's politically too big to stop and are scared of losing their jobs. So they move their families out of the danger zone and let those they're hired to protect be poisoned. What a bunch of crap by a bunch of criminals with badges. This Administration is the biggest bunch of thieves, liars, murderers, and treasonous bastards this country has ever known, and I've made it clear they'll have to kill me to shut me up. You're free to speak, and they're free to try and kill you with no fear of punishment by their fascist law enforecement agencies. That puts enough fear in the next person from opening their mouth. That's the bottom line.

Having the freedom to express your opinion is American. Not supporting the president doesn't make you anti-American. It does however, put you in the minority.

I was serving my country in the Army. Where were you? That was during the time of Kosovo and Bosnia. Remember those two staged photo-ops for Clinton? How about the air-strikes on Iraq that President Clinton authorized? How about the bombing of the asprin factory? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Infinite_Reach
