It was John Dillinger. He was identified as the target to the G-Men by the infamous "Lady in Red"
Anna Sage, the infamous "woman in red", with whom Dillinger had been living in a Chicago brothel, betrayed Dillinger. Chicago FBI chief Melvin Purvis was tipped off by Sage that Dillinger would be seeing the movie "Manhatten Melodrama" at the Biograph Theater on Chicago's Northside. Sage wore a red dress to alert the FBI that the man she was with was Dillinger.
On July 22, 1934, 15 FBI agents surrounded the theater. Once Purvis identified Dillinger, the agents closed in. Dillinger pulled a gun and the agents opened fire, killing Dillinger. Just three bullets struck Dillinger. The fatal shot passed through the back of his neck and exited just under his right eye. He was shot twice in the chest; one bullet passed through the tip of his heart.

No, It was John Dillinger. He was gunned down by the FBI leaving the Biograph Theater in Chicago after watching a gangster movie, how ironic.

John Dillinger was gunned down outside of a movie theater in Chicago; which lead to the legend of the Woman in the Red Dress as being his downfall. Al Capone was in Alcatraz at the time for Federal Income Tax Evasion and died of syphillus.

It was John Dillinger
Dillinger attended the film Manhattan Melodrama at the Biograph Theater in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago with his girlfriend, Polly Hamilton, and brothel owner Ana Cumpanas (a.k.a. Anna Sage), who was facing deportation charges. Sage worked out a deal with Purvis and the FBI to set up an ambush for Dillinger and drop the deportation charges against her. When they exited the theater that night, Sage tipped off the FBI who opened fire into the back of Dillinger, killing him. Sage had identified herself to agent Melvin Purvis by wearing an agreed-upon orange and white dress, which due to the night lights, led to the enduring notion of the "Lady in Red" as a betraying character.

John Dillinger, he was betrayed by his gun moll, Anna, who turned
him in and told the G-men where he would be seeing a movie at
in Chicago.
She wore a red dress to signal the g-men when he was coming out.
Bugsy Segal was killed at his home in Las Vegas I believe.

It was John Dillinger; his girl friend was in cahoots with the feds and wore a red dress so that would be able to spot her and find him easily (it was the Feds, not other gangsters, who gunned him down).
Bugsy Segal was killed in his own home by other mobsters.
