Most of the time baseball players wear white socks, and then add their teams color via stirrups that make it look like a stripe up the side of their sox. However, in today's MLB it has become more common for players to wear their pants so low that you can't even see their socks.

Because it's Red Sox, meaning they'll sock you! I actually don't know why either! I'd make my team where red socks!
